Suzanne Stevens was raised in Miami, Florida, and made her home by the ocean in Virginia Beach, Virginia, 18 years ago. Working from her home studio, Suzanne draws inspiration from the natural world around her. Fascinated by the individuation process, she uses her artistry to explore the human psyche. Her expertise is figure drawing and landscape painting, using charcoal, oil, pastel and watercolor. Suzanne holds a BA from Florida State University and an MA from Goddard College in Vermont. A lifelong artist, she was recently selected for Who's Who in America 1998 and Who's Who of American Women 1997-1998. Each image shown here is part of a larger series of works.
