Gregory Deming, Head of the Visual Arts Program at Atlantic University, has crated the first graduate visual arts program in the country based on transpersonal concepts. He earned his BFA from Pratt Institute and his MFA from the University of Florida.
He is a National Endowment for the Humanities Scholar and, as a Citizen Ambassador to the People's Republic of China, participated in a delegation of art professors sponsored by People to People International. His artwork, which is in public and private collections, has won numerous awards in national and regional, from coast to coast.
He is currently developing a series of paintings and drawings based on cellular memory concepts, a series of photokinetic light paintings based on PSI dimensional reality and is writing a book on the alchemical and meta- physical influences on the life and early work of Marcel Duchamp.
